Over 627,000 new businesses open each year. With this large amount of competition in certain markets, it can be hard for companies to stand out.
That is where growth marketing comes into play.
Marketing, as defined by the American Marketing Association, is the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large.
Based off this definition, it is apparent that marketing is essential for businesses to stand out amongst the competition. The word “growth” means increase and expansion. One way to grow your business involves learning how to market your product or service to your customers.
Now, how do you put this strategy into action?
Here are some growth hacking tips that I have gathered:
- Implementing content upgrades! These are extensions of one of your content pieces made available for download in exchange for contact information. Some examples include video recordings, resource/tool guides, or checklists. Content upgrades prove to be highly effective in lead generation.
- Send emails from a real person. Rather than sending generic emails, have an actual person from your company with a first and last name send emails out. People are more likely to read or even respond to emails from an actual person versus a computer-generated email.
- Engage in communities such as LinkedIn or Quora. Respond to questions that pertain to your business or to related topics. This can drive people to your website.
These are just a few of the many hacks that can be used to grow and market your business well.
